First let's define what a cardio workout instills. Cardio is short for cardiovascular which in our reference is a means to exercise the cardiovascular system. How do we exercise our cardiovascular system and why would we want to do that in the first place anyway? We can exercise our cardiovascular system by performing an aerobic activity. People partake in various aerobic activity like biking, swimming, walking, dancing, running, and yes even sex counts (if it last long enough).
